Oli Spleen & the Smithmanthers + support from The Barbarian Horde + Montague Armstrong
Alt-folk family band The Smithmanthers who live on the south coast of England compose and perform songs that journey betwixt the twee and the demented.
Singer Oli Spleen variously served their time in The Flesh Happening, Pink Narcissus and SPLEEN. Following a rendezvous with the ageing Flesh Happening bass player, and dalliances with members of The Barbarian Horde and The Academy of Sun, this new collective was birthed.
Expect cello, piano, jangly things, fabulous garments, and songs about nuns, death, dreams and excrement.
